The 2024 route starts and ends in the Living Inca City of Ollantaytambo, in the heart of the Sacred Valley at 2,800 meters above sea level. An architectural jewel on the way to Machu Picchu, with more than 3,500 years old. Located 1.5 hours from the Imperial city of Cusco.

Cuzco airport is located in the Imperial City. There is only one airport. To get to Ollantaytambo (GFNY race) we leave you the following instructions:

  • Most international flights stop in Lima (LIM-Jorge Chavez Airport) and then you make a connection to Cusco (Cuz-Jorge Chavez Airport). The duration of the flight is approx. 1 hour.
  • Later you must take a Shuttle to Ollantaytambo, with an approximate duration of 1.5hrs.

If you need help quoting a shuttle write to us at peru@gfny.com with the number of cyclists and companions so we can assist you.
